Registration is now open for our 2014 race!
Our major needs right now are
–Saturday Bike Racking and Body Marking at West Potomac Park, 12-4 pm; 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm
–Saturday Sports and Fitness Expo at Washington Hilton, 3:30 pm – 6:30 pm
–Sunday Swim Start at West Potomac Park, 4:30 am -8:30 am
–Sunday Run Course Marshals, Check in at West Potomac Park, 6:00 am – 12:00 pm


We are also in great need of LIFEGUARDS!

THANK YOU to all of our nearly 600 volunteers who helped make the 2013 race a success! We could not have done it without you. From the expo, to the info booth, to body marking, bike racking, swim start, finish line and everything in between, we owe you a huge round of applause. We hope to have you back in 2014!

Community involvement is essential to The Events DC Nation’s Triathlon.  Without the support of many volunteers and community leaders, the race would not be possible.  The Nation’s Triathlon partners with the DC Triathlon Club to help build this community.  The DC Tri Club provides 2 volunteer coordinators for the race.  The volunteer coordinators rely not only on volunteer help from the largest triathlon club in the region, but also forge relationships with other cycling, running, paddling and volunteer groups to provide the over 500 volunteers necessary for the race.

The DC Triathlon Club
The DC Triathlon Club is a community of over 2,000 triathletes and triathlon enthusiasts from Washington DC, Northern Virginia and Southern Maryland.  Established in 2002, the club welcomes triathletes of all ages and experience levels.  DC Tri conducts regular group training sessions, workshops and seminars to help develop members’ abilities as triathletes.  The club also hosts social gatherings and race related events.
