*Prices above reflect cost for USAT Members. A $12 1-day license fee applies for non-USAT Members. Each participant MUST have a valid USAT license.
Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Fees listed above do not include the RaceIT processing fee.
Price includes: Official Race T-shirt, Swag Bag, Refreshments at the Start, along the Course, and at the Finish, Finishers Medal, and admission to the Post-Race Concert.
There are NO refunds except for active duty military.
There are absolutely NO bib transfers.
In addition to your Age Group or Relay registration, you are invited to select one of the Races-within-a-Race. These include the First Responders’ Challenge, the Etihad Airways Tri Club Challenge, the Herbalife Congressional Challenge, the Military and Uniformed Services Challenge. We will also have a Collegiate Challenge as part of the Sprint race. You may only register for ONE Race-within-a-Race.
Choose this category to compete solo in your age group.
DC Triathlon Club Wave
DC Triathlon Club members can choose this category to compete against others in the DC Tri Club and go off in the wave(s) following the Age Group Elite wave. The number of DC Tri Club waves will be dependent on the number of athletes registered in this category. Please note that those choosing to register as part of the DC Triathlon Club wave will NOT be eligible for Age Group awards, nor will you be able to use The Nation’s Triathlon to qualify for the USA Triathlon Age Group National Championship. We will verify that those who select this category are paid members of the club prior to the race. Racers in this category ARE permitted to participate in a relevant Race-within-a-Race challenges.
Age Group Elite
Choose this category to compete at an elite level only. Age Group Elite competitors are not eligible for Age Group awards nor can they compete in any of the races-within-a-race. Men qualify with an International time of 2:15 or less. Women qualify with an International time of 2:30 or less.
The AquaBike category includes the swim and bike portions of the race. The race finishes at the transition area.
Choose this category to compete as a team of two or three athletes, male, female or co-ed, with each athlete doing one or two legs of the race (swim, bike or run).
All athletes must agree to the following policies when registering:
- NO REFUNDS except for active Military. Absolutely NO BIB TRANSFERS.
- The registered athlete will be 18 or older as of race day, Sunday, September 13, 2015.
- All athletes must pick up their own race packet on either Friday, September 11 or Saturday, September 12 and must rack his or her bike on Saturday, September 12.
